Explore monument signsA complete entry-feature program — monument, halo-lit channel letters, Knotwood architectural fencing, aluminum gates, and entry columns — designed, fabricated, and installed by CG Signs for one of Toll Brothers' flagship luxury communities at Jacksonville's eTown.
Toll Brothers' Edison community sits inside eTown — one of Jacksonville's largest master-planned developments and a high-bar context for any community-level signage. The brief was straightforward in concept and demanding in execution: design and build the entry experience for a Toll Brothers luxury community, where the monument, fencing, gates, and architectural details all read as a single coordinated environment.
Generic monuments and off-the-shelf fence panels were never going to work. The entry needed to feel built, not assembled.
CG Signs designed, engineered, fabricated, and installed the complete entry feature program in-house. The centerpiece is a custom-fabricated aluminum monument with a concrete-and-stucco façade, accented with Knotwood (an aluminum product finished to read as natural hardwood) and brushed aluminum dimensional accents. Halo-lit reverse channel letters carry the Edison wordmark at night.
Around the monument, we built coordinated Knotwood fencing, aluminum gates, columns, and entry features — all engineered to the same brand vocabulary and installed by the same crew that built the sign.
"Generic monuments and off-the-shelf fence panels were never going to work here. The entry needed to feel built, not assembled."
Knotwood is an aluminum architectural product finished to read as natural hardwood — rot-proof, hurricane-rated, and a perfect material match to the Edison brand. We fabricated the slats, the gates, the columns, and the surrounding fencing in our Orange Park shop so the entire entry-feature environment shipped from the same hands.
Aluminum structural fabrication with a concrete and stucco façade. Knotwood and brushed aluminum dimensional accents tie the monument visually to the surrounding fencing and gates.
Reverse channel letters with LED halo illumination carry the Edison wordmark across the monument face. Soft glow at night without overpowering the neighborhood character.
Coordinated fencing, gates, columns, and entry features fabricated in Knotwood and aluminum — engineered for hurricane wind loads and Florida UV.
If you're designing the entry experience for a community, hotel, dealership, campus, or commercial property, we'd like to hear about it.
